JKJ Electric, LLC. is owned and operated by myself, Jayson Kent Jolivette. I have over 37 years of experience in the electrical trade, and for more than 20 of those years I have been a self-employed electrical contractor. I carry a Master Electrician's license in 4 states including, of course, Texas.
As the owner/operator of JKJ Electric, my primary objective is to provide the highest quality work and superior customer service while keeping your costs reasonable. I take pride in a job well done and completed in a timely manner.
I do give free estimates for projects......many charge for that service. Often, I can give you an estimate over the phone and/or I will be happy to visit your home or business if it is a more sizable project. Unfortunately I cannot give you an estimate for troubleshooting.
I do have a 1 hour minimum charge, unlike some who have up to a 3 hour minimum charge. Also unlike most contractors I don't charge for travel time (as long as you are within about 1/2 hour of me), add any other extra charges, and I don't double and triple my material charges. And my hourly rate is very reasonable considering my experience, licenses and insurance.
There is a difference between your friend down the block who "knows about electricity"or even an electrician doing work "on the side" and me, who is a master electrician and a licensed and insured electrical contractor with 37+ years experience. When you have electrical work done in your home, please consider the inherent danger associated with electricity. Also, keep in mind that your homeowners insurance wants you to only have electrical work done by a licensed and insured electrician. But also when it comes to service and repair. What might take someone else many hours to diagnose and repair, I could likely do in half (or less) of that time.
Don't trust the safety of your home to just anyone!
